In this day and age, real estate agents are expected to be all things to all people (and we are expected to do it FAST and furious).

Emails, CMAs, slideshows, flyers, open houses: we are expected to produce everything at the drop of a hat. It’s tough to keep up with all of the continual demands made upon real estate agents, but there are certain productivity tools that really assist agents in making even the most mundane tasks more efficient.

One great productivity tool is hootsuite. Hootsuite is a social media dashboard where you can author and schedule posts to facebook and twitter all in once place—and all at one time. Let’s say, for example, that you set a goal of sharing once daily on facebook and twitter. But, after a few days, you realize (when you are already in bed), that you have forgotten to share. Well, here comes hootsuite to solve that problem for you.

With hootsuite, you can write all of your information and schedule it for days (and/or weeks) at a time. So, if you are one of those well-meaning folks who wants to get on facebook daily but doesn’t have the time, then there is a solution. Set up 15-30 minutes per week and schedule all of your tweets for the entire week. That way, you won’t have to worry about meeting you goals.
